About First Neural Network
AI should be understandable before it becomes complicated.
First Neural Network is an interactive learning experience designed to make neural networks and artificial intelligence easier to understand.
Instead of starting with formulas, complex terminology, or large amounts of code, we start with something more fundamental: intuition.
See what happens. Experiment with it. Understand why it happens. Then go deeper.
Built for curious minds
You don't need a background in artificial intelligence to begin.
First Neural Network is designed for students, educators, self-learners, developers, and anyone curious about how AI actually works.
The goal is simple: make difficult ideas approachable without removing the ideas that make them interesting.
Learn by seeing and experimenting
Neural networks are often explained as diagrams, equations, or black boxes. Here, they become interactive.
You can explore datasets, watch networks train, test predictions, compare models, and see how changing a problem changes the way a system learns.
Don't just learn how a neural network works. Watch it learn.
Start with intuition. Go deeper when you're ready.
The core learning experience is designed to be accessible without requiring advanced mathematics or programming.
For learners who want to go further, Go deeper content will explore the engineering behind the experiences: Python, datasets, mathematics, model construction, training, and more.
These deeper learning experiences will be developed as First Neural Network grows.
The creator
About Richard
I'm Richard Soler Avellén, a computer engineer with experience in web development, test automation, applied mathematics, and artificial intelligence.
I created First Neural Network because I believe complex technology becomes much more approachable when people can see it, interact with it, and discover how it works for themselves.
This project is an ongoing effort to build a practical, visual, and accessible way to learn about neural networks and AI.
